  • Yes its about energy, but its only partly covered in this article The real problem and the real cost is the high intensity brainwave frequencies of Beta that uses higher amounts of energy to sustain attention, concentration, problem solving,. the result is overwhelm, loss of cognitive ability, thus productivity and burnout. The solution is the ability to switch into lower intensity brain wave frequencies of Alpha and Theta where calm, clarity, creativity, innovation and deep connection reside . Now the saddest part it is easy to do, and yet we are stuck in the busyness trap keeping us in Beta .

    This is How OrgFit International Helped Santa save christmas, As we approach the holiday season, I want to share a story to connect emotion with thinking. It's a story about disruption, empowerment, and the future of work. It's a story about Santa Claus and the North Pole.   As a leader, Santa was facing a unique set of circumstances that required him to remain inspiring, calm, and composed, even as the world around him was fast-paced and in constant disruption. The rise of e-commerce, social media, and changing consumer behaviors had disrupted the traditional linear approach to Christmas, leaving 60% of the reindeer and Christmas elves feeling detached from their work and Santa perplexed.   But Santa didn't give up. He knew he needed help, so he turned to OrgFit International, a forward-thinking organization that specialized in helping leaders navigate the challenges of disruption. And that's when the magic happened.   With the help of OrgFit International, Santa began to see the North Pole in a new light. He realized that the future of Christmas was not just about technology or processes, but about people. He needed to empower his team, recognize their value, and provide them with a sense of purpose.   As Santa worked with the team from OrgFit International, he began to implement new approaches and build new pathways to create a brighter future for the North Pole and for children all around the world.     We are thrilled to share that our NeuroStarter™ Discover Program has just completed its second session, and I must say, our students have been absolutely amazing! They dove head-first into the fascinating world of neuromodulators, exploring how these tiny molecules impact us as individuals, leaders, and teams.   Today, Dr. Justin James Kennedy and Greg Pitcher (P.npn) shared some incredible insights with us. We delved into the concept of flow versus focus, understanding that flow is all about autonomy, while focus is about direct attention. This distinction is crucial, as it helps us recognize when to give our teams the freedom to operate independently and when to provide more guidance.   We also tuned into the "radio stations" of two vital neurotransmitters: GABA and glutamate. Imagine being able to adjust the dial on these stations to amplify or reduce their energy! As leaders, this means we can create an environment that fosters calmness and clarity by "tuning in" to GABA, or boost creativity and learning by "tuning in" to glutamate. And in teams, this awareness can help us navigate complex situations with more empathy and understanding.   But that's not all - we also explored the roles of dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin, and endorphins in our lives. These neurotransmitters play a significant part in shaping our experiences, from motivation and pleasure to social bonding and well-being. But wait there's more we gained the confidence in dicovering NeuroStarter™ to solve and how to be G.R.E.A.T, by understanding the neurotransmitters involved, the interventions that work, in the 5 most complex challenging areas leaders and team face today 1.
