First table, started with an idea, now a global success. Congratulations Mat Weir and the First Table team. 10 years strong!
🎉 Celebrating 10 years of First Table! 🎉 What began as a simple idea in Queenstown has grown into something much bigger – we’ve seated over 5 million diners and partnered with thousands of restaurants across New Zealand, Australia and the U.K. 🌍🍽️ It’s been a whirlwind journey, full of challenges and triumphs, but every moment has been worth it to build this incredible community of food lovers. A huge thank you to all our partners, diners, and supporters who’ve helped make this possible 🙏 Here’s to the next decade of epic dining adventures – we’re only just getting started! 🚀 #10YearsOfFirstTable

📊 Is there a key skills gap in Queenstown Lakes workforce? 🔧 What are we doing to fill the gap? 🔍 What are our core learning needs in our district? 📄 What training are you struggling to find for your staff? 🤝 How can we work together, smarter not harder, to access quality training that meets our common learning needs? Learn Queenstown Lakes project has launched. This project aims to bring our business community together to establish our district as a destination for education, learning and development. In doing so, we aim also to increase the visibility of, and access to, quality learning & development offerings for businesses and workers across the district. The first step in this mahi is to gather information from employers, to understand the core learning needs and skills gaps of our workforce. Please help us to build this district-wide view by completing the survey at this link, by 5pm Tuesday 10 September.
