South Taranaki District Council taps ASI Solutions to deliver cloud migration The council migrated its business-critical applications to ASI’s cloud, hosted at CDC’s New Zealand datacentres. With its existing Nutanix infrastructure nearing end-of-life, the council was seeking a stepping stone between its on-premise legacy and its cloud-first digital strategy. ASI Cloud and Nutanix enabled the council to begin shifting away from on-premise systems without the upfront investment usually required, said council IT operations lead Stephen Mileham. “After researching hyperscale cloud providers, the transition looked very costly, especially when considering application refactoring, and ingress and egress charges,” he said. https://lnkd.in/gGaZf-7k #ResellerNews
