Creating just a few centimetres of topsoil takes around a thousand years, making soil protection crucial for global food security. 🌱 The FAO’s Global Soil Partnership (GSP) is taking action by promoting sustainable farming practices like crop rotation, cover crops, and tree planting as well as educational campaigns to combat soil erosion and degradation.
