About us

Working Together for a Safer, Cleaner, Smarter Business Community The Rosebank Business Association was formed in 2002 on the back of some real desire by its founding members to build a business community that accepted social responsibility to work together for a Safer Cleaner Smarter Business Community. Safer – by means of reducing burglaries and crime from the creation of a network of security providers with eyes wide open, who are able to “make a difference” Cleaner – by means of introducing a 24 hour zero tolerance policy on Rosebank Road graffiti and Smarter – by way of providing its members with various business capability and enhancement mechanisms to assist with the ability for local businesses to transact, conduct and increase their own capability and awareness levels. The initiatives pioneered by the Rosebank Business Association have provided the framework for the current RBA structure and services that promote the economic development of the local commercial area through the Business Improvement District (BID) partnership programme – funded by a targeted rate collected by the Auckland Council. The BID structure provides businesses with a unified voice to advocate for initiatives that promote growth throughout leading business precincts. The RBA's role is one of advocacy and business support, assisting and guiding the development and advancement of the commercial interests of business people and businesses in the Rosebank Business Precinct through a coordinated, structured and measurable communications, marketing and economic development programme. Fostering and promoting generally the welfare of the business community of Rosebank Business Precinct, the RBA provides a forum for networking and collaboration of members and sharing of information. The RBA provides its members with access to a wide range of business services Rosebank became a Business Improvement District (BID) in July 2005.
