Yesterday, the SHIFT HQ team had an incredible day giving back at Fair Food NZ, marking our second year of volunteering with this amazing charity! After the fun we had last year, we were keen to help out again. Stepping away from our computers, we got into sorting through surplus food that would otherwise go to waste. This effort is crucial as it helps Fair Food supply frontline community groups with free food. Fair Food operates seven days a week, collecting and sharing surplus food at no cost to donors or recipients. Their Conscious Kitchen prepares hundreds of meals weekly, distributing fresh groceries to those recovering from trauma, needing a safe place to sleep, or facing food insecurity. Not only does Fair Food help people; by keeping great fresh food out of landfill, they help the planet by minimising greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to climate change. As winter draws to a close, we had the pleasure of coming together for an energising SHIFT Wellness Lunch with our SHIFT HQ Team, and SHIFT Consultants at Alberts this week. ❄️🍽️ It was a fantastic opportunity to pause, reflect, and connect with one another. Sarah Lamb, Breathwork Expert, led a restorative breathwork technique session (which was amazing), and Simone Denny, Life Purpose Mentor, guided us through a goals and intention-setting workshop – was great to have the (rare!) opportunity to set some goals for the next while. Simone also lead a session with the SHIFT HQ team on our strengths and desired feelings as individuals and as a team. 🎯✨ Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special event. Wonderful to be part of the Empower Women breakfast session this morning to kick-off the Financial Services Council New Zealand conference!   Our Founder and Director Prue Tyler led an excellent panel discussion on how the "great wealth transfer" applies in the New Zealand context, and what the implications are for New Zealand women and the financial services industry.   It was great to hear the insights of panelists Andrew Williams, Gretchen Williamson and Samira Boock, and have a special table of SHIFT clients, consultants and friends join the session. #EmpowerWomen Tracey Cross
