The Law Association of New Zealand acknowledges the pressures and challenges our legal community faces every day. We understand that being a lawyer is often a relentless journey filled with tight deadlines, complex issues, and an ever-growing list of demands. The practice of law is not just a profession—it is a calling that requires resilience, dedication, and unconditional commitment. And so, we need to take the time to care for ourselves and each other. Remember, our greatest strength as a profession is not just in the work we do but in how we support one another through the highs and lows. Let’s continue to champion not just legal excellence, but also a culture of compassion, understanding, and mutual care. Today and every day, take care of your mental health. After all, it is the foundation of all that we do and achieve. “Together, we are stronger — never forget that it’s okay to lean on one another” Clayton Kimpton, Tony Herring, Samira Taghavi, Julie-Anne Kincade KC
