From Coastal Views to Forever Home. When Nicola Patrick and her partner Jason Quinn were searching for the perfect site to build a new passive home in Wellington, they stumbled upon a one-of-a-kind property in Island Bay. In buying the section, they also inherited The Lighthouse – a building created by the former owner as an art studio for his wife, then repurposed as an Air BnB. The couple are continuing to rent The Lighthouse out, while they work on building their forever home on this special piece of South Coast paradise. We had an amazing time at this year’s charity luncheon supporting Life Education Trust NZ and their Healthy Harold Programme. Huge thanks to our major sponsors, Trade Me Property and Rutherford & Bond & King Toyota, for their incredible generosity. Also a big thank you to our guest speakers Mike Anthony and Jason Holland from the All Blacks staff - we loved hearing your insights! And a special shoutout to our very own Senior Agent Joanna Simpson - Tommy's Real Estate, who is also a dedicated Life Education Wellington City Trustee! Another big thank you to Diakrit for capturing the event!
