The true highlight of the event is the Harcourts National and International Awards finale nights. Where the best of the best are recognised and celebrated in true Harcourts style. Our immersive stage set design featured over 260 square metres of LED including 20m LED ceiling stripes designed into a multi-layered stage set providing an innovative backdrop to the HX conference that we produced in both Tākina in Wellington and @thestargoldcoast in the Gold Coast. With @zedtheband setting fire to the stage to open the event in NZ, @sneakysoundsystem in Australia, elevating keynotes including @drlibby, @joshphegan, @thamonstar, @dom.is.where & industry experts as well as @hannahfang_violin and @the60four providing entertainment, it was a non-stop feast for the senses. We brought bold & innovative design thinking to the blank canvas of the Takina Convention Centre in Wellington & The Star in Gold Coast to deliver two back to back multiday conferences with meaning & insight for our client of nearly 20 years. This was another year of firsts with the excitement of the Takina Convention Centre being a new canvas to paint blue! We deconstructed this year’s theme message to synthesize graphic assets that we used to transform our venues into ‘Harcourts World’ – with special details through the environmental design, sculptural pieces, digital & directional signage. Then into the main plenary room where they were brought to life across 5 multi-layered screens featuring over 260 square metres of LED including 20m LED ceiling stripes. @harcourtsnz @harcourtsaustralia

Cocktails on the lawn at NZB Karaka Bloodstock Centre for the barrier draw of the Trackside New Zealand Derby before heading inside for the auction of the barrier slots for the NZB Kiwi – the richest race for 3YO in the Southern hemisphere. We worked with our client to design the experience and brought the theatre and magic and some equine royalty to parade each slot number – even the horses got to wear some fancy bespoke coats. The world first slot auction exceeded all expectations, and we are thrilled that our client is thrilled. Good luck to all those drawn to run tomorrow in the Trackside NZ Derby.
