Our Transpower whānau was thrilled to participate in the Wellington Pride Parade on Saturday and proudly marched down Courtenay Place waving pride-coloured lightning bolts. ⚡ 🌈 ⚡ We have people from all walks of life working together at Transpower, whether it’s the legends in the control rooms keeping New Zealand's power flowing, or our dedicated folks out in the field maintaining our assets from Kaikohe all the way to Bluff. This event is important to us because - like New Zealand's electricity grid - every connection matters. Kiwis are a diverse bunch, and that is no different for us at Transpower.

Here is our second electricity animation. This one looks at what the grid is and how it works. This easy-to-understand information is aimed at providing Kiwis with accessible content about the electricity system in Aotearoa. We’d love you to share it with your network. #aotearoanewzealand #electricity #powerlines #solar #renewableenergy #transpowernz #STEM
