Twelve new Volkswagen Amaroks have joined the fleet at TDG Environmental, the largest provider of sustainable waste management and recycling services in Australia and New Zealand. It is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to an automotive legend and our inspirational leader, Sir Colin Giltrap. We take this moment to acknowledge all those feeling his great loss today, as he is laid to rest. He was deeply passionate about the Volkswagen brand here in New Zealand, and we thank him for his significant contribution to our industry. Beyond his impressive business success, his generosity and support for many communities across New Zealand will always be remembered. A visionary driven by the love of cars, it is an honour to continue his legacy here in Aotearoa. Sir Colin, you will be deeply missed.

European Motor Distributors (Volkswagen NZ) and Giltrap Group founder Sir Colin Giltrap, passed peacefully at home with family last night, aged 84.  Sir Colin was a keen family and businessman, with an all-consuming life-long passion for cars. He was well known for building enduring relationships, valuing people, and in the world of motorsport, which is legendary. In honor of Colin and his legacy we would thank him for all he has done for our industry in New Zealand.
