First, I would like to thank ASNT OMAN SECTION and AMPP OMAN CHAPTER for organizing a successful summit. Second, special thanks to Abdulaziz AL-Sakiti, Shahul Hameed Abdul Rahman , Talal Al Nabhani and Hussein Al-Salmi, IWE for their continuous encouragement and support to present in such technical gatherings. Third, I had the privilege of attending & presenting in ASNT OMAN SECTION summit about “Roles of Additive Manufacturing & Advanced Cold Spraying Technology in Oil & Gas industries”. I focused on “A Case Study of Successful implementation of replacing a pump impeller using Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) 3D printing process” in Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) while my colleague focused on “ Introduction of Advanced Cold spraying technology for 3D Printing, Repair & Reuse of Critical(Thermal Sensitive materials) Long Lead Oil & Gas Components / Spares”. Finally, special thanks to my family, friends (naming few Mahmood Al Sulaimani, Ahmed Al-Taie , Riyam AL Riyami) and colleagues (Martine Muller , Ghalib Al Busafi and Alazher Adawi) for all the support.

Oman Materials, Corrosion, And Integrity Summit This comprehensive summit brings together two critical domains - Corrosion & Materials and Integrity & Inspection - under one roof. By bridging these complementary fields, gain insights into the intricate corrosion mechanisms, evaluate the latest advancements in materials protection strategies and Discover innovative materials, coatings and corrosion mitigation solutions that offer enhanced resistance and extend the service life of critical assets Simultaneously, the Integrity & Inspection track delve into robust asset integrity management programs to minimize risks and maximize the lifespan of infrastructure. Learn from experts about strategies like risk-based inspection, advanced non-destructive testing methods, digital twins, integrated data platforms and emerging technologies that enable preventive and  predictive maintenance. It was also great opportunity for networking and meeting with SMEs from national and international companies . Special thanks to Abdulaziz AL-Sakiti the Chairman of ASNT OMAN SECTION as well Mohammed Abufour, ASNT (The American Society for Nondestructive Testing) Regional Director and Head of the Advanced NDT Services Unit at Saudi Aramco for giving me this opportunity to attend the Conference.

First, I would like to thank the ASNT OMAN SECTION and the AMPP: Association for Materials Protection and Performance for organizing such an outstanding and successful summit. MashaAllah, well done, brothers in the Sultanate of Oman. Today, at the Oman Materials, Corrosion, and Integrity Summit 2024, I delivered a technical presentation titled "Advanced NDT Solutions for Quality Assurance in the Oil and Gas Industry." During the presentation, I emphasized the critical role of qualified NDT technicians and engineers in ensuring the integrity and safety of plants and equipment within the sector. valuable insights number of advanced NDT images obtained from unique applications were presented to showcase the strengths and advantages of NDT technologies in verifying the integrity of equipment and piping in the oil and gas industry. I also highlighted that advanced NDT technologies can maximize quality assurance through a data-driven approach that enhances quality assurance, significantly reduces the risk of operational failures, and lowers the costs associated with unnecessary maintenance and repairs. Additionally, I highlighted many of the latest advanced NDT technologies and capabilities, which provide valuable and high-quality data that help engineers develop the required actions to ensure safe operation. My presentation was met with a warm reception, earning well-deserved appreciation from the engaged audience during and after the presentation.
