OHI’s Newest Radio Station - So! Radio, Oman 91.4FM Earns a Nomination at Prestigious International New York Radio Awards!
So! Radio, Oman - 91.4FM, the only dedicated classic rock station in Oman and the Middle East, has just been nominated for a New York Radio Award, making a monumental splash on the international broadcasting scene in less than a year on the air.
Considered the "Oscars" of the global radio industry, the New York Radio Awards recognize excellence in radio broadcasting across the globe. So! Radio's nomination places not only the station itself, but also Oman firmly on the world broadcasting stage.
Robin Banks, Head of English Radio at OHI said; “This is OHI’s second nomination at these awards. Hi FM was nominated a few years ago. Being nominated for So! Radio this year is just amazing, especially as it’s not even been broadcasting a year yet! We are still the only radio group in Oman to EVER be nominated and recognised internationally.”
