兼久商店で
熱々の天ぷらを食べてきました。
注文を受けてから揚げてくれるので、アツアツカリカリをいただくことができます。
おうちで天ぷらも楽しいけれど、油の処理だったり、あれやこれやで結局アツアツを食べられないので、
こういうお店に来ると何にも気兼ねしないで、楽に天ぷらが食べられるから余計おいしいような気がします。
人が作ってくれた料理っておいしいよね…
1番オーソドックスな天ぷら定食を注文しました。
写真は、イカとエビ。
他にも鶏胸肉やかぼちゃなどの定番が揃っていました。
笑もおいしかったけど、イカがとっても大きくて食べ応えがありました。
私は、イカをおうちで揚げるととっても油が跳ねて危険と言うイメージがあるので、あんまり天ぷらであげたことがありません。
油ハネで周りが汚れたり、怪我をしたりする心配をせずに食べられるのは嬉しかったです。
今度来る時はお持ち帰りで甘辛ダレをいっぱいかけてもらった天丼を食べてみたいと思いました。
お会計はアルコールなし、大人2人、子供1人で4700円ほどでした。
飲み放題、天ぷら付きのコースも設定されていたので結構お得かもと思いました〜
久しく飲み会やってないからそろそろ開催したいものです。
I went to Kaneku Shouten, located inside the Don Quijote store in Ishigaki Island, and had some piping hot tempura.
They fry it up after you order, so you get to enjoy it crispy and hot. While it's fun to make tempura at home, dealing with the oil and everything can be a hassle, and you can never quite achieve that crispy texture that you get at a place like this.
It's just so much easier to come to a restaurant like this and enjoy some tempura without any worries. Food cooked by someone else always seems to taste better, doesn't it?
I ordered the most classic tempura set, which came with squid and shrimp as you can see in the picture. They also had the usual selection of items like chicken breast and pumpkin. Everything was delicious, but the squid was especially large and satisfying to eat.
I've always had the impression that frying squid at home is really dangerous because of the oil splattering, so I haven't really made tempura with it before.
It was nice to be able to eat it without worrying about getting oil all over myself or getting hurt.
Next time I come, I want to try the ten-don with lots of sweet and savory sauce to take home with me.
The bill came out to about 4,700 yen for two adults and one child without alcohol. They also had a course option with all-you-can-drink and tempura, which seemed like a good deal. It's been a while since I had a drinking party, so maybe it's time to plan one soon.
