How To Check Maharashtra Traffic e-Challan Status?

You can check your Maharashtra traffic police e-challan status using the Park+ or Parivahan websites.

Use The Park+ Website/App and know your challan status in 2 simple steps:

• Visit the Maharashtra e-challan App by Park+ or the web portal on the Park+ website.
• Enter your vehicle number and view your challan status.

Use The Government of India Official Website - Parivahan, To Check Your Challan Status:

• Visit the Parivahan e-Challan Webpage.
• Enter your Challan number/vehicle number/ Driving license number.
• List of challans will be displayed.
• Click on the challan to check its status.

You can pay an e-challan issued by Maharashtra traffic police online and offline.

Paying Traffic e-Challan Online

There are two ways of paying traffic e-challan online: the Parivahan website and Maharashtra Transport's official website.

Using Parivahan Website:

You can also pay your Maharashtra traffic e-challan using the Government of India's official e-challan website - Parivahan.

• Visit the Parivahan e-Challan Webpage.
• Enter your Challan number/Vehicle number/Driving License number.
• Enter the Captcha code and click on "Get Details".
• From the displayed list of e-challans, select one to make the payment.
• Proceed with the payment.

• Once the payment is successful, you will receive a confirmation and transaction ID.

  Using Maharashtra Government's Official Web Portal:

• Visit e-Challan payment.
• Input vehicle number or challan number to proceed.
• After entering the vehicle number or the last four digits of the engine chassis number will also be needed.
• Next, you will be redirected to a new page that displays the information of the e-challan.

• You will receive a confirmation along with transaction ID on successful payment of e-challan.

  Paying Maharashtra Traffic e-Challan Offline:

  To pay the e-Challan issued by Maharashtra traffic police offline, you can choose either of these two options:

• Visit any traffic police station in your city along with your Driving Licence, Address and Identity Proof, and traffic violation challan. Pay your fine in cash and get the receipt.

• Locate a traffic police officer with a handheld e-challan payment device. Swipe your debit/credit card to make a cashless payment there and then.

  What Are The Latest Traffic Violations And Their Penalties In Mumbai And Pune?

  As per the New Motor Vehicle Act 2019, the following is the revised list of penalties and their fines as implemented by the Maharashtra Traffic Police:

  Driving without a seat belt	A fine of ₹1,000 or/and community service.
  Triple riding on two-vehicle	A fine of ₹1,000 or/and license disqualification With Community service for three months.
  Driving without helmet	₹1,000
