We're increasing capacity and upping our agility with 47,000 TEUs - the first-ever DP World registered and branded containers. This investment offers our customers more capacity and flexibility to meet rising market demands. The containers will be deployed across multiple routes, ensuring reliable and efficient transport backed by our vast expertise. As we continue to expand our Marine Services offering and renew our fleets, these containers mark a significant step towards optimising supply chains and supporting long-term customer savings and growth. Hear from our Global Chief Operating Officer for Marine Services, Ganesh Raj, on this announcement:

We partnered with Utopia Music to unveil Europe’s largest home entertainment fulfillment centre in Bicester, UK. Advanced robotics and automation systems, a 275,000sqf facility and 129,000 storage locations, all tailored to meet the needs of the growing demand for physical music - while some record stores close, new ones open on a regular basis. This trend is rising far beyond the UK: globally, physical music demand is growing through collectibles, albums and merchandise. This means that trade plays a key part in connecting global communities through culture. Find out more about DP World Bicester here: https://lnkd.in/eBYPvfE3

Last week at Economist Impact's 4th Annual Global Trade & Supply Chain Summit, our team engaged with industry experts, thought leaders, and senior executives on how we can shape the future of global supply chains. Robert P. Frei, Group SVP - Air Freight, shared his insights in a thought-provoking fireside chat on the complexities of reworking supply chains and navigating diversification efforts. Hans Moerman, CFO - Digital Technology, joined a panel to explore the transformative power of Generative AI in reshaping procurement and supply chains, further reinforcing our commitment to technological innovation. An exclusive roundtable led by Abdulla Yaqoob Al Hashimi, COO - Parks and Zones in the GCC, and Yusuf Tambawala, VP - Growth and Business Support, Parks & Zones, explored the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of global trade. The summit brought together global leaders to explore strategies for boosting resilience, efficiency, and sustainability in global trade. We look forward to continuing these conversations at upcoming industry events as we stay at the forefront of progress in trade and logistics.

Safety - especially in our line of work - is non-negotiable. Each day, we reflect on the care, trust and accountability we’ve built across our teams to ensure everyone returns home safely to their loved ones. Our Global Safety Day was not just an opportunity for us to remind our teams how important safety is, but to bring them all together and reiterate our procedures and protocols, which practically bring our beliefs into action. Through Gemba walks that allow us to observe our own practices, talks through our safety toolbox and retraining across a variety of practices, we are establishing safety beyond practice. We're embedding it as part of our culture. As we continue this journey, let us keep prioritising the well-being of one another, knowing that the lives we protect, matter the most. #DPWorldGlobalSafetyDay
