The goal is to get them to plan ahead, particularly for housing, so they can enjoy financial security and eventually own their own home. In today’s tough economic times, many young couples and professionals are realizing how important it is to save money. Thirty-two (32) year old Lulu Raymond, a lecturer at the University of Technology and her partner, Jeremiah Raymond, are a great example. At this year’s Morobe Show, they visited the NSLS booth and decided to open a General Savings account. They also started saving under the Housing Saver account, which will help them buy a home in the future. "I am from East Sepik, born and raised in Lae, I’ve lived in rental properties for years and realized how expensive it is," said Jeremiah Raymond. "Now that we’re married, we don’t want to keep renting. Since we don’t have kids yet, we know it’s smart to start saving as soon as possible. I think all young couples should make it a habit to save, especially if they don’t have children yet. The earlier you start, the better off you’ll be in the future," Jeremiah added. Nambawan Savings & Loan Society (NSLS) is established under the Savings & Loan Societies (Amended) Act 2015, primarily to serve the short to medium term financial needs of its members. Membership for NSLS is open to both contributing and non-contributing members of Nambawan Super Limited. As part of our expansion plan, we now seek a highly skilled IT Support Analyst to join our team. The IT Support Analyst will primarily be responsible for the overall coordination, control, and maintenance of personal computers and handheld devices within NSLS to ensure compatibility and integration with NSL IT systems. Moreover, provide a single point of contact for end users to receive support and maintenance within the organization’s desktop computing environment. This includes diagnosing and maintaining all PC / Laptop and handheld devices to ensure optimal performance in a timely and accurate fashion.
