Menstrual Health Community Awareness Partnership Program (MHCAPP) in partnership with Sir Brian Bell Foundation Ltd is a new program which we have piloted in 2023. This pilot program was executed in Madang province in partnership with a local NGO, Caritas Care Givers and was a success reaching hundreds of women and young girls in Madang and Bogia Districts. Recently, our awareness team had an info/MH session with members of Madang Medical Students Association who will be conducting a week long health awareness in Raicoast district. They also considered Menstrual Health and we are so excited to equip them with necessary information and support through the MHCAPP. More updates to come in the coming weeks ahead. Feel free to reach out to info@queenpads.net to learn more about our new program targeting communities in PNG. #Queenpads #SirBrianBellFoundation #MHCAPP #MH #CommunityAwareness #WomensHealth #MenstrualHealthHygiene

Oky Toky Radio show segments with Tribe 92FM have been shining more light on Menstrual Health and Sexual Reproductive Health targeting adolescent girls and women, and what better way to end this Women’s Health month with Queenpads on the show. A shout out to the organizations and partners involved led by Save the Children Papua New Guinea, UNICEF Papua New Guinea, Tribe 92FM It’s so encouraging to see Menstrual Health and SRH promoted this way, to not just amplify the work of organizations and individuals in the space, to shine more light on the challenges women and young girls experience during their special days, a learning opportunity to create conversations, share useful information across the media platforms. Menstrual conversations should continue to be normalized, it is a normal fact of life – there is nothing to be ashamed about nor fear, women and adolescent girls need to fully understand the rights to their body, the functions of their body and recognize its importance especially the functions of the reproductive system, the importance of good menstrual hygiene practices as well as the risks associated with poor hygiene practices. Women and young girls need to feel safe, comfortable and supported during their special days. Menstruation is everyone’s business, and we also acknowledge men who are slowly getting into the conversations or simply being gentlemen extending care and support to their female loved ones. At Queenpads, with a dedicated team we continue to ensure women and young girls are informed and have an extra reusable sanitary pad for themselves and of course feel empowered as Queens. We look forward to creating more menstrual conversations for the remainder of this year. Menstruation is everyone's business, and we are thrilled to see organizations like Women's Micro Bank recognize the importance of promoting Menstrual Health and normalizing Menstrual conversations at workplace for its staff this month 👏💜💚 Queenpads Founder Ms. Anne-Shirley said “it was such an honor to spent one of my mornings with the team at Womens Micro Bank sharing useful information about Menstrual Health”. We thank Womens Micro Bank for the opportunity to share information around this sensitive yet important area of Women’s Health to both females and males staff. It’s all about recognizing the importance of menstrual health, good menstrual hygiene practices and understanding the risks associated to a females’ body from poor menstrual hygiene practices. The more Menstrual conversations are normalized, the more easier for women to be comfortably managing themselves and seek support without shame or fear. We truly appreciate Anne-Shirley Korave for her commitment to raising awareness and nurturing a supportive environment. Mama Bank recently held an informative awareness session for its staff on menstrual health and hygiene, focusing on the importance of understanding menstrual health. The session covered essential topics such as maintaining proper hygiene during menstruation, the significance of access to clean menstrual products, and breaking the stigma around discussing menstrual health openly. Mama Bank is thankful to her for taking the time to lead the session on menstrual health and her insights and enthusiasm made a significant impact on all of us. Her ability to discuss such an important topic with openness and clarity not only educated us but also empowered everyone in attendance. This session also highlighted the role of menstrual health in overall well-being, stressing that better awareness leads to improved productivity and confidence. The discussion encouraged both male and female staff to participate, making it an inclusive step toward greater awareness and sensitivity within the organization. #MenstrualHealth #HealthAndWellbeing #BreakingTheStigma #InclusiveWorkplace #WorkplaceAwareness #StaffWellbeing
