I was a Summer Intern Software Engineer at Appier during my internship. 🌟 A typical day My day starts at 9:30 AM with a sync-up meeting with my mentors. Afternoons are dedicated to coding, while lunchtime is perfect for connecting with fellow interns and learning more about Appier's vibrant culture. 🤝 Supportive environment One of the most striking aspects of Appier is its inclusive and collaborative environment. I felt a strong sense of belonging, receiving valuable feedback from my team and other teams across the company. The passion and willingness to help that everyone here shares is genuinely inspiring. 💡 Key takeaway The biggest lesson? The power of communication in cross-functional teams. I learned that different perspectives always lead to a better final product. Appier's culture of dedication and passion is inspiring—people push for greatness without top-down pressure, which makes the work both challenging and fulfilling. The opportunity to own a project with the support of my mentors was challenging but ultimately fulfilling. Their guidance and support were instrumental in my growth during this journey. The first-ever AiSalon Taiwan Chapter Meeting concluded successfully on October 25 at Appier’s Taipei office, gathering nearly a hundred entrepreneurs and AI thought leaders. Organizers of AiSalon Taiwan—Chi Ko, Kuan-Yu Hou, and Asianometry, invited Tokyo AI founder Ilya Kulyatin, along with Cathy H. (Venture Partner of Palm Drive Capital), and Chih-Han Yu, CEO and Co-founder of Appier, for a panel discussion on the intersection of AI development and market needs from technology, investment, and startup perspectives. Chih-Han shared insights into Appier’s success in Japan,  emphasizing strategies like bootstrapping and market re-testing, while highlighting the importance of localization: "Even if you're a global company, you have to look very local in each market.” "Achieving this requires operational excellence and consistent practice.” On AI’s future, Chih-Han remarked, "AI is not a bubble— companies that build sustainable business models will thrive." He envisions AI technology transforming every aspect of life in the next 20-30 years, including advancements in robotics.
