At Irene Chan Co., we see the extraordinary in the everyday. We see women writing compelling content while pursuing their own education and managing households. Strategizing marketing campaigns between family commitments. Building remote teams across time zones while homeschooling their children. Today, on International Women's Day, we honor these remarkable women in our team and beyond—mothers, daughters, sisters, friends, and colleagues around the world who balance multiple roles with grace and determination. Their strength isn't just in what they accomplish but in how they bring their whole selves to everything they do. They demonstrate that balance isn't about perfection—it's about moving purposefully between the many dimensions of a meaningful life. We celebrate all women today, for the hats they wear and the paths they forge. ✨️💪🏽 #IWD2025 #AccelerateAction #WomenAtIreneChanCo

Dear all remote professionals from the Philippines, Your individual action affects everyone. If you don't show up on a call If you suddenly ghost a client If you did something unethical It affects us all. One bad experience from hiring someone in the Philippines might affect their entire hiring process. They might skip hiring from the Philippines entirely. This hurts us in a lot of ways. There are lots of amazing talents who want to work remotely so they can spend more time with their family or pursue a new business or career. If you won't show up, just give a heads-up. Be honest if you don't want to do the work. Don't disappear. You can always resign. Everything can be solved with simple communication. Your action affects everyone and the future of remote work. If at anytime, you're unsure, please ask someone. Join our Slack community and ask other remote professionals on how to help you: bit.ly/ireneslackcommunity

Quick tip for initial interviews: When the recruiter asks you, "Tell me about yourself." Please don't go over your entire resume. Limit your answer to 3-4 sentences. Summarize your skills and say something interesting about yourself. The recruiters already reviewed your resume, so you don't have to repeat it. Hope this helps! What's one tip you want to share with other applicants?

Our experience in hiring people for remote work: it is not the most talented that usually gets hired. It's usually the one who shows up first, is eager to learn, and provides the best value. So don’t be discouraged if you feel like you are not an expert yet. Just show up. Learn as much as you can. And always go the extra mile.
