    At yesterday’s launch of the 2024 Philippine Trust Study, held at Makati Shangri-La Hotel, EON and Ateneo’s Development Studies program unveiled profound insights into shifting public expectations on Trust. The panel discussion, moderated by journalist Karmina Constantino, emphasizes a call for proof-based trust, asserting that institutions must demonstrate good intentions, competence, and consistency to maintain public confidence. The study’s rigorous methodology includes data from a nationwide survey of 1,800 respondents and focus groups, providing a well-rounded perspective on Filipinos’ evolving trust dynamics. Key findings revealed that the Accountability Revolution signals a new era, where institutions must deliver tangible results to earn and sustain public trust.     EON Group is honored to have been an official communications partner of the Asia-Pacific Ministerial Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction (APMCDRR) 2024. As the main organizer of the event, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) worked with EON The Stakeholders Relations Group for PR content development, media liaison training, and social media promotions, amplifying the visibility of APMCDRR 2024 across traditional and digital platforms ensuring broad public awareness on the importance of disaster preparedness. With the Philippines being one of the most disaster-vulnerable countries in the world, EON’s role in supporting the hosting of APMCDRR 2024 marks a significant contribution to the efforts of building resilience against natural disasters. Through its strategic public relations and promotion efforts, EON helped amplify key messages on disaster risk reduction, enhancing awareness and engagement both locally and internationally. The Asia-Pacific Ministerial Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction (APMCDRR) 2024, hosted this year by the Philippines, was held from October 14 to 18 at the Philippine International Convention Center. Over 4,000 delegates, including government representatives, civil society, and the private sector, gathered to advance resilience in disaster risk reduction. President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. led the opening ceremony, while UNDRR Special Representative Kamal Kishore and other key officials participated in discussions. The conference focused on three key pillars: localization, inclusivity, and sustainable financing, aligning with the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030. One of the crucial themes discussed was the role of media and communication in DRR, focusing on strategies to provide accurate, timely information, counter misinformation, and raise risk awareness. Media was seen as crucial for bridging the gap between policymakers and the public, ensuring that vital disaster-related information reaches all, especially the most vulnerable.  #BuildersofTrust #APMCDRR2024 #SurgeTo2030
