💭 "How might we leverage local entrepreneurship models and experiences to address global sustainability challenges?" At the 3ZERO House Philippines Assembly last October 5, Rafael Dionisio of MAD Travel (Make A Difference), Carlo Chen-Delantar of Gobi Partners and Circulo, Priya Thachadi of Villgro Philippines, Isidro Luis Borromeo of Evergreen Labs and ReForm Plastic, and moderator Karl Satinitigan of Meron examined how local entrepreneurship in the Philippines can accelerate solutions for local, regional, and global challenges, particularly in sustainability. 🚀 Through seeking entrepreneurial initiatives in the grassroots, enabling indigenous communities to build solutions based on their knowledge and experiences, using both low-tech and high-tech solutions to solve problems on a needs-based capacity, and creating success stories in our own communities, we can push for business growth and as we conquer sustainability challenges. 💡 Ideas for Impact is an initiative by the Global Shapers Manila Hub to share insights on key sustainability issues in the Philippines through a systemic lens and the voices of local changemakers in the country.
