Associate Planning Director

Job Summary:

The Associate Planning Director ensures that the agency's output adds value to the set of businesses he looks after. He does this by directly carrying out planning work, securing access to the necessary tools and knowledge he needs to get the job done, and being the team’s cultural compass. He ensures that the set of accounts under his supervision receives the necessary support by working efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Effectiveness of the work

• Work delivers commercial value to the client’s business across all business units
• Impact of the work gets recognized within client organizations

Client Relationships

• Clients regards the agency well and values their POV on the business.
• Senior clients welcome his POV on how they might solve their business problems creatively.
• Clients shares timely information about their business with the Associate Planning director because they know it will be put to good use.

Business Profitability

• Time spent by Planners generates ample returns to the agency.
• Minimize overburn of hours spent across accounts.

Skills and Requirements:

• Proficiency with advanced marketing concepts.
• Can diagnose a brand’s business problems with precision.
• Provide counsel on strategic brand priorities to senior-level clients.
• Can drive a team to create more effective work and demonstrate its results.
• Devise and deploy research to unearth fresh truths or to investigate specific areas, both quantitative and qualitative.
• Present POVs in a persuasive, compelling and inspiring manner.
• Ability to partner with Creative, Business, Mapping, and Technology leads to deliver an excellent product.
• Collaborates effectively, especially with Mapping team.
• Can easily spot an idea and nurture it to its full potential.
