An American Eagle flight, operated by Envoy, departing from Reagan National Airport en route to Key West had to be diverted after a potential bird strike, as confirmed by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The plane, an Embraer 175, with 69 passengers and four crew members, safely landed at Baltimore Washington International Airport as a precaution around 2 p.m. American Airlines stated that the aircraft landed without incident and will undergo inspection by their maintenance team. Thankfully, there were no reported injuries. Both the airline and the FAA are investigating the incident, while arrangements are being made to resume travel for the affected passengers promptly. #Birdstrike #emergency #innovation
