As the sole bidder in the privatization of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), Blue World City Consortium has announced plans to add 100 aircraft to the PIA fleet while ensuring job security for all 7,000+ employees. This move indicates a substantial investment in PIA, a carrier long challenged by financial and operational difficulties. By retaining its workforce and expanding its fleet, National Flag Carrier (PIA) could be positioned for a potential revival, benefiting both the airline and its employees. If implemented as planned, this initiative could also support growth in Pakistan’s aviation sector, tourism, and international connectivity. #PIA #Privatization #BlueWorldCity #Aircraft #BWC #PIABidding #AD
