A team from the University of Bolton – Islamabad Campus (Pakistan’s first HEC-approved UK university) recently visited IMSciences. During the visit, they met with Prof. Dr. Usman Ghani (Director IMSciences) and Mr. Asad Ashfaq (Head of the Career Development Center, IMSciences) to discuss potential areas for collaboration between the two universities and explore ways to achieve mutual benefits.

Center for Water Informatics and Climate Resilience (CWC) at IMSciences and WaterAid Pakistan (WAP) signed an MOU for the implementation of Pakistan Youth Leadership Initiative (PYLI) project (2024 - 2027) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In partnership with WAP, CWC-IMSciences will facilitate capacity building activities of students in Youth Leadership, Climate Change and WASH under the PYLI project. CWC-IMSciences will lead the capacity building programme on the said subject in other universities of the province.

The Career Development Center (CDC) at IMSciences organized a panel session for final-year BBA Marketing students on the topic, "The Real Estate Market in the 21st Century and How to Develop Market Strategies for the Real Estate Sector." CDC IMSciences invited our esteemed alumni, Mr. Sajjid Khan Salar (Graana), Mr. Saqib ur Rehman (Agency21), and Mr. Hussain Ahmad Khan (WestBridge), to engage with the students on current real estate trends and share insights on becoming successful professionals in the field. We are sincerely grateful to Mr. Zeeshan Khattak (Faculty Member) for facilitating the panel. This session was part of the ongoing capstone project for Marketing students, in collaboration with DHA Peshawar.

The Career Development Center (CDC) IMSciences organized a one-day session on "Growth Mindset" on October 14, 2024. Mr. Usman Sharif, a seasoned Tech CEO and Life Skills Trainer, was invited as the guest speaker. With over 17 years of experience in IT and a strong background in Islamic Education, Mr. Usman is the co-founder of Wisdom Explorers and the founder of Techvent Global. The session was attended by more than 120 students from the BS English, BS Psychology, and BS Social Sciences programs. Mr. Usman engaged students in meaningful discussions about the importance of cultivating a growth mindset in both their personal and professional lives. In his closing remarks, Mr. Asad Ashfaq, Head of the CDC at IMSciences, expressed his gratitude to Mr. Usman for his time, dedication, and valuable insights. The session concluded with a token of appreciation, as the Joint Director of IMSciences, Prof. Dr. Atta ur Rahman, presented a shield to Mr. Usman.
