    Position Overview: Keyway Engineering seeks CAD Technicians and design engineer, preferably with experience in AutoCAD, Solidworks, Catia and Autodesk Inventor along with drafting experience. This person will liaison with the Project Team Lead. The person will be responsible for handling easy to medium level CAD operations and may also be required to QC the project team members. Candidates must have Mechanical, 3D modelling and drawing experience. Reverse Engineering experience using Geomagic Design X is a plus. Understanding of molds & dies, structures, tooling, and fabrication techniques and/or design for injection molding is preferred. This position could lead up to Project Team Lead (with appropriate compensation) in short term and person should be willing and self-motivated to excel. The person will work with internationally experienced engineers and will be on track to become a Team Lead.  This is a full-time and onsite position in Lahore. Responsibilities • Liaison with the CAD Team Lead and Senior CAD Technicians to ensure smooth internal communication and flow of information.  • Good Solidworks & Inventor operating ability and drive to learn more and progress. • Perform medium level CAD operations including 3D modelling of parts, assembly, and 2D drawing. • QC project team’s work if assigned by Project Team Lead and/or senior team members, • Be a hands-on Solidworks and Inventor resource on client projects, performing drafting tasks according to instructions. • Assist with project team expectations on project design deliverables. • Provide project updates internally to the CAD Team Lead and Senior CAD Technician. • Contribute to the creating documents, training material, workflows, and organizational processes to ensure successful and timely completion of projects. Qualifications • Diploma in drafting, BTech or BE Mechanical, preferably with 2+ years of relevant Solidworks, Inventor and AutoCAD experience.  • Construction documentation experience is preferred. • Experience with CAD software applications and/or drawing packages including, but not limited to Solidworks, Inventor and AutoCAD is preferred. • Experience with construction drawings is preferred. • A basic understanding of molds & dies, composite structures, tooling and machining is preferred. Some hands-on experience in the construction industry is a plus. Hiring Process & Contractual Terms 1. Upon selection, a paid trial period of 30 consecutive days will be held at the office. Once that is successfully completed, if performance is acceptable, a job offer will be extended. 2. This job requires a commitment of 2 years. 3. Leaves will be assigned as per the scheduled laid down by SBP. 4. No other benefits are available at this moment. Salary Package 50,000 – 80,000 PKR.
