Buland facilitated a Story Networking session at the Creative Canvas -Community Festival, connecting individuals in a supportive circle. Through the power of themed stories, we bridged gaps and built bonds, nurturing empathy, understanding, and a profound appreciation for the inclusive voices and experiences in the I8 Community Library, Islamabad. THREE SUNDAYS IN THREE CITIES FOR THREE SPECIAL EVENTS! As a part of our October, we were able to pull off Creative Canvas in Islamabad successfully, Buland Kahani 7.0 in Karachi, and Poetry Session in Lahore on three successive weekends. Wouldn't have been possible to pull off this without collaborators for each event, alongside our brave buddies for pushing it hard. The events brought us close to the power of stories, allowing us to acknowledge the strength of each city and bring the best for each city, Islamabad, Karachi, and Lahore. Couldn't be more grateful to Usama Shahid for the top-class management at the creative festival, Zeenat Ahmad for managing Lahore's poetry session, and Syeda Muntaha Ali for leading the creative team at Karachi for executing Karachi's event alongside their teams. Talha Akhter for all the operations work at Islamabad and Karachi's events!

“You were made to speak, so destiny will surely lead you there”, said my best friend. The last time I stood on stage was two years ago. It was only my second time, and as always, my heart had no trust in myself, lol. Facing an audience of over 600 people, I can still remember the sound of my heartbeat ringing in my ears. But as usual it was driven by a cause. I had to deliver the message, and I did. A friend later told me that it made her male friends cry, and I asked if she was joking. She wasn’t. She even forwarded me the voicenotes from those guys. Today, again, I don’t feel eligible enough to stand in front of such a large audience tomorrow. I haven’t had time to prepare, and even when I’m trying, it just feels impossible because of the heart-throbbing anxiety. But this time again, it’s not just about me. It’s about what others need to hear. I keep asking Osama Akhter if we can skip my story, but he doesn’t let me. I keep telling Saba Bilal that even going there tomorrow feels impossible, this is just another new stress. And she responds with, “You were made to speak, so you will definitely go”. I don’t know how it’s going to turn out tomorrow since I’m struggling in many personal areas right now, but the only thing that’s keeping me going is the difference my existence has to create. Shayad ke utar jaye kal kisi dil mai meri baat.. (maybe my words will touch someone's heart tomorrow) If you want to join me in this journey, come along! An event that you’re going to love from the core of your heart. Ye mera waada hai! Register here: https://lnkd.in/ddT8jfm3 Date: 13 October 2024 Time: 2:30 pm onwards Venue: Habitt City Buland

𝙄𝙨 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖 𝙙𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢 𝙤𝙛 𝙖𝙧𝙩? To your surprise, no. Yesterday, I attended an amazing storytelling event by Buland, "Karachi Kahani 2.0." 🎤 While the scope of storytelling and creative writing in Pakistan is debatable, we have a huge community of creative literary enthusiasts here. It was a house full! There's so much that I learned about personal branding, public speaking, and creative storytelling. For instance, as Fahad Raza (fitness + intellect genius) said and I quote: "𝘼𝙡𝙡 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙙𝙤 𝙞𝙨 𝙠𝙚𝙚𝙥 𝙥𝙪𝙩𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛 𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙙𝙖𝙮. 𝙄𝙩 𝙢𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙣 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙛𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬 𝙖𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙜." And as Osama Akhter, the man behind Buland said, "𝙆𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙮𝙖𝙣 𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙤𝙪𝙣 𝙨𝙚 𝙣𝙖𝙝𝙞 𝙗𝙣𝙩𝙞, 𝙡𝙤𝙜 𝙠𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙣 𝙨𝙚 𝙗𝙣𝙩𝙚 𝙝𝙖𝙞𝙣."

For the first time... I shared a glimpse of my story! I have started writing a book and the title I had chosen a few months ago... and this piece was definitely a part of it, not yet written. What makes it even more special is that my family, Yasir Aqueel, Abdullah Yasir and Alishba Yasir were there too. And I felt very vulnerable yet brave in the moment! It was about the turning point in my life that changed me from a people pleaser to someone with higher integrity and boundaries. The blame is on no one since we need to be self aware to know ourselves, our purpose in life and the actions we must take as we evolve to become who we are destined to be! Very grateful to Bolo Health, School of Leadership, and Buland especially Zaamran Baloch for inviting me. Waiting for the official photographs and video to be out! I hope I sent a loud and clear message! Love and light ✨ Dr. SY #neuroencodingspecialist #relationshipcoach #investinyourself #bethechange #walkthetalk #inspire #livewithpurpose #relationshipwithself #healthyboundaries
