On November 4, 2024, SDSB had the pleasure of welcoming Dr. Huzaifa Rauf Assistant Professor at FAST, as a guest speaker in the Project Management course led by Dr. Zehra Waheed. In his session titled Insights from a $1 Million USAID-funded Battery Swapping Pilot Project at SSE’s E-Mobility Centre, Dr. Rauf shared valuable insights into implementing and scaling innovative projects within the e-mobility space. This interactive session provided students with a practical understanding of project execution in a high-impact, real-world context, offering a strong foundation for their future roles in project management and beyond. #SDSBImpact

Experiential learning is at the heart of the SDSB MBA programme, enabling students to gain practical knowledge through direct industry interaction. On November 01, 2024, SDSB hosted an enlightening session on "Financial Inclusion and Future of Digital Banking in Pakistan and its Challenges." Moderated by SDSB Adjunct Faculty Qaiser Sheikh, the panel featured Executive Director SBP, Syed Irfan Ali; Group Head, Digital Banking at MCB, Shahzad Ishaq Senior Global Banker and Payments Expert, Rizwan Qazi; and Expert in Digital Banking, Maleeha Mimi Bangash. This session offered MBA students a unique perspective on the future of digital banking, bridging classroom concepts with real-world industry insights. #SDSBImpact

The SDSB Placement Office facilitated a promising meeting between the LUMS Rausing Executive Development Centre (REDC) and Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL). The conversation focused on exploring impactful collaborations, particularly in designing customised corporate training programmes for SNGPL’s management at REDC.
