As a CRO that specializes in neurology, we see firsthand the impact that diseases like ALS have on people’s lives. One of our goals as an organization is to empower patients dealing with this neurodegenerative disease. “Having worked in ALS and with a number of ALS key opinion leaders over the last 15 years it’s difficult not to get drawn into this disease area,” @Ignazio Di Giovanna said. “Not just due to the apparent injustice and indiscriminate nature of how ALS strikes patients, but also due to the dedication and commitment of patients, physicians and researchers to find a cure, or at the very least to make the remainder of each patient’s life as comfortable and independent as possible. For 20 years, ARG CEO Paul Bishop and COO Lyle Camblos have worked to create a CRO environment where employees felt appreciated and clients felt supported, something they hadn’t seen at a larger CRO where they previously worked. “From the beginning we wanted to create a place where people wanted to work, because we would be working there too,” Camblos said. “The bread and butter of our industry are the operational staff that work with our investigator and sponsor partners.  Because of the inherent travel and stress, those employees tend to have the highest turnover rates at CROs.” By being involved in the day-to-day and focusing on quality in all aspects of the business, these two have fostered ARG’s growth over the past two decades. https://lnkd.in/eDaJ4Vc4 #AtlanticResearchGroup #ARG20Years
