At Sierra Balmain, our mission extends beyond property management to actively integrating our properties into the urban fabric by understanding and addressing the needs of the local community 🌍. In Turzyn, a district in downtown Szczecin with over 18,000 residents, including a significant number of seniors, we recognized the lack of social spaces and low community engagement.
In response, we have expanded the event offerings at Galeria Turzyn by collaborating with local social partners, especially NGOs. We identified their needs, provided support, and established partnerships with 10 non-governmental organizations, resulting in the execution of 20 unique initiatives supported by over 50 operational partners 🤝.
Our initiatives include:
🚂 The Record-Breaking Model Railway Exhibition, which set a new record for the largest model exhibition in Poland
🧸 Family activities for toddlers up to 3 years old
💃 Neighborhood dance parties for seniors in our vibrant ROOFA Zone
These events have garnered significant media attention with minimal financial investment: 121 publications, a reach of 232K, and an AVE of 330K 📈. Additionally, foot traffic for the Model Railway Exhibition increased by 10% 🚶♂️.
These efforts strengthen Galeria Turzyn's image as a community hub, enhance social activity and local integration, enrich our event offerings, and build lasting relationships with residents 🏘️. This is also reflected in our Facebook channel, where we saw a 47% increase in likes 👍 and a 92% boost in engagement ❤️.

This longstanding tradition brings together the Bydgoszcz community for a cycling parade that promotes an active lifestyle and a sense of togetherness. CH Osowa is a place that has been eagerly visited by families with children for years. Observing their consistent interest, Sierra Balmain, as the center’s manager, has created a package of new entertainment areas, giving families new reasons to visit the place.
The entertainment zone represents joint forces of interactive space operators, permanent exhibitions, and temporary exhibitions, events for family members of all ages. Entertainment offers in CH Osowa include Crazy Carts, Dino World, the "Monsters from Legends", and "Fairy Tales” Exhibitions, and were temporarily expanded to include the Exotic Spider Exhibition as well.
The opportunity to enjoy a variety of attractions in one place has encouraged residents of Gdańsk and the entire Tricity area. Results for the first 3 months since the opening have proven that it is the best entertainment offer in the district:
• Over 700k PLN turnover from ticket sales
• Average monthly footfall +10%
• Footfall during winter holidays +20%
• Mentions in nearly 60 media titles
Sierra Balmain has once again demonstrated that transforming the needs of the local community into action and adapting facilities to their preferences is the best path to sustainable evolution, benefiting both tenants and visitors, as well as fueling the neighborhood vibe.
