It's another week, another event, and this one is packed—nearly 400 exhibitors showcasing cutting-edge industry solutions for the Polish and international markets. Today was a very well attended day at Warsaw Industry Week, where we’re surrounded by some of the best solutions for industry: from machine and tool suppliers to automation, robotics, and engineering. It’s a showcase of talent, technology and innovation - for three days, visitors can dive into the latest in modern industrial technology and productivity enhancements. ⚙ I was particularly happy to meet up with Izabela Dajewska, MBA from FCA, member of the Swedish-Polish Chamber of Commerce, as well as Swedish companies like Piab - A brand by Piab Group, FlexLink, and Tele Radio Group. This week Explore Markets participated in the 14th European Congress for Small and Medium Enterprises (Europejski Kongres MŚP) in #Katowice, a leading forum for innovation, collaboration, and growth in the SME sector. We were glad to spotlight Polish companies' increasing commitment to green transformation, a key theme as SMEs in Poland work to align with global sustainability goals. Several pressing challenges were highlighted during the congress. Key issues included: 👉 rising energy prices, which continue to impact business costs and profitability, 👉 and the depopulation of the Silesian region—a significant concern for the workforce and local economies. 👉The ongoing green transformation presents both opportunities and hurdles, as businesses work to meet new sustainability standards while remaining competitive. 👉Additionally, discussions around Poland’s safety underscored the importance of stability for business growth and investment. The Global Destination Sustainability Movement (GDS-Movement) has just released its 👉 GDS-Index for 2024 where 6 out of the top 10 most sustainable destinations worldwide are in the #Nordics!
