Wiedzą już o tym zielonogórscy studenci z koła naukowego BuzzVerse, którzy skonstruowali urządzenia potrafiące przesyłać dane na duże odległości. – Można do niego zamontować różne czujniki. Dlatego już teraz rozmawiamy z Lasami Państwowymi i strażą pożarną o możliwych zastosowaniach – tłumaczą nam zdolni żacy. #miastoZG #projekt #UZ #technologia Koło naukowe BuzzVerse działa oficjalnie od listopada ub.r. i zrzesza 12 studentów informatyki na Uniwersytecie Zielonogórskim. Koło współpracuje z zielonogórskim oddziałem firmy GlobalLogic, która pełniąc rolę patrona wspiera inicjatywę młodych ludzi. Skąd wziął się pomysł budowę autorskiego urządzenia? - Wszystko zaczęło się od pszczół – zgodnie przyznają Olaf Bykowski oraz Krystian Wybranowski, członkowie koła. – Nasz opiekun z GlobalLogic, Paweł Kamoda, na terenie gminy Czerwieńsk montuje leśne barcie dla pszczół. Owady potrzebują jednak opieki, należy czuwać nad rozwojem takiego dzikiego roju. I właśnie tak powstała cała idea: aby zamontować czujniki mierzące w czasie rzeczywistym temperaturę, ciśnienie oraz wilgotność. Dzięki temu możemy szybko otrzymać informację o sytuacjach kryzysowych, zareagować i zapobiec potencjalnemu wyrojeniu. W tej kwestii kluczowe było urządzenie przesyłające dane. – Bez tego czujniki nie przekażą istotnych informacji – zaznacza Olaf. I kontynuuje: - Postawiliśmy na technologię radiową LoRa, która choć przesyła niewielkie pakiety danych to jednak charakteryzuje się niedużym zużyciem energii oraz bardzo dobrym zasięgiem – tłumaczy nasz rozmówca. W planach jest udział w pilotażowym programie „Smart parking”. Studenci w okolicy rektoratu przy ul. Licealnej umieszczą pod kostką brukową czujki wykrywające zaparkowane samochody. – Dzięki temu w przyszłości będzie można stworzyć system, który będzie sprawnie informował mieszkańców o wolnych miejscach postojowych – przekonuje Olaf. Projekt zielonogórskich żaków zyskał już uznanie i jako jeden z pięciu zakwalifikował się do finału konkursu technologicznego organizowanego przez Politechnikę Warszawską oraz firmę Siemens. Inicjatywa wspiera pomysły młodych naukowców bazujące na innowacyjnych rozwiązaniach z obszaru big data, sztucznej inteligencji czy internetu rzeczy.
