🎉 What an honor! This week, our Innovation Hub team had the privilege of opening the science stage at the Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit as the first panelists. It was an incredible conference with over 10,000 participants. We delved into running our organisation, the future of education, and the necessity for it to evolve synchronously with our rapidly changing world. 💪 As an organization managed solely by girls, we strongly resonate with the summit's objective. It's wonderful to see an event of this magnitude supporting the empowerment of women in technology, a field still largely male-dominated. 🎤 A huge thank you to everyone who attended our panel and to the summit organizers. It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase our magazine, explore new technologies, and connect with amazing people. Today, our team had the privilege of opening the science stage at the Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit, the largest conference for women in tech in Europe, with over 10,000 participants. We discussed the story behind Innovation Hub, explored the advantages of writing science articles, and discussed the need for education to adapt and evolve in a rapidly changing world. We were thrilled to share our insights and see that topics featured in our magazine, such as quantum computing—including my article on superdense coding (https://lnkd.in/ghXkHMN4) being discussed by specialists in the field. We were also excited to introduce our magazine to key figures in Poland, including Minister of Education Barbara Nowacka, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digitalisation Krzysztof Gawkowski, and the U.S. Ambassador to Poland, Mark Brzezinski. We hope these connections will help our magazine grow, reach new audiences, and give our authors' work more exposure globally. We sincerely thank those who attended our panel on the science stage and the organizers of the summit. It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase our magazine, learn more about new technologies and meet great people. 🎵 🧠 In our newest podcast episode, our community coordinator, Patrycja, interviews Alicja Olszewska, a PhD candidate researching neuromusicology. Together, they discuss how learning to play an instrument can be used to investigate brain plasticity. 🎙
We are thrilled to announce that our executive team will be panelists at the Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit! Join us for the panel discussion, "Bringing STEM Closer to Students: The Story Behind an International Youth-Led Science Magazine," where we will share the origins, goals, and challenges of our magazine. We'll highlight the importance of providing a platform for high school students to publish their articles, research, and passions. Don't miss our session on June 12th at 9:00 on the Science Stage. We look forward to seeing you there! 🎉
🎉The Innovation Hub team is proud to announce the release of our fourth issue showcasing articles written through June 2023 - February 2024. This issue is particularly special as it features not only cutting-edge science articles but also movie reviews, wildlife and microscope photography sections, and an interview. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to our authors without whom the issue would simply be an idea and blank pages, ambassadors for reaching out to their local communities, Mrs Maria Głowacka for her support, and to our friends and families. We would like to also thank Samsung who have partnered with us for this issue. We are immensely grateful for their active engagement in the development of our magazine and for their mission to bring sustainability closer to students. We hope this issue is something different, and perhaps even more interesting. We invite you to explore the wide range of topics within the following issue and hope you enjoy it as much as we did assembling it.
