#InterregGO The retransmission of the Interreg Go event is now available! 🎥 Catch our colleague, Kyriakos Kourtidis on stage from 16:23, representing #VoiceOfTheYouth and presenting "The Declaration by Young People on the Future of Territorial Cooperation". Kyriakos emphasised the importance of all stakeholders working together to boost #YouthParticipation in European #TerritorialCooperation. He highlighted the need for #youth involvement and empowerment, emphasising the creation of inclusive and accessible opportunities for all. He also addressed the issue of less privileged territories lacking knowledge about available youth opportunities. Kyriakos said that the most important element of the declaration is to ensure that youth participation is integrated across all aspects of #Interreg. #AboutYesterday The signing ceremony of the funding agreements for two projects selected within #3rdCallforProposals took place on 24th March, 2025 at the Marshal’s Office of the Pomeranian Voivodeship in #Gdańsk. ☑️DeCoInter – Decarbonization of Maritime Sector and its Impact on Green Energy Transition: A transformation towards green energy solutions within the maritime industry will be facilitated by this project. ☑️Horse Tourism for Everyone – Fostering Inclusive & Citizen-Oriented Horse Tourism Development in the South Baltic Area: The project’s focus is on developing inclusive, citizen-oriented equestrian tourism across the South Baltic region. The ceremony was attended by two Deputy Ministers of Funds and Regional Policy, Konrad Wojnarowski and Jacek Karnowski, along with Members of the Board of the Pomorskie Voivodeship, representatives of the Programme Managing Authority – the Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy, as well as the Joint Secretariat of the Programme. #CallsClosed The 4th call for regular projects and the 2nd Small-scale projects call of the Interreg South Baltic Programme 2021-2027 have officially closed. Between 5th November 2024 and 4th February 2025 we received 25 project proposals in the 4th call and 5 proposals in the 2nd Small-scale projects call. The selected projects for co-financing will be announced after the Monitoring Committee’s decision on 18th June 2025. Let’s explore projects focused on #CooperationCapacity in #SouthBaltic area. SCONE - Sustainability Cooperation Network in the South Baltic is one of  24 projects selected for funding in the 2nd regular call for proposals. Here's the focus: - Develop guidelines for self-assessment on sustainability in schools, conduct assessments in each partner institution, and create action plans.  - Organise online and on-site workshops for teachers to share experiences and discuss sustainability education, resulting in a guide and an open online course.  - Empower students to work together across borders on sustainability projects through workshops, cross-border camps, and hackathons, where they will tackle sustainability issues and develop small projects.  - Conduct research and mapping to explore perspectives on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). … #SCONE #Interreg #SailingTogether #ActiveSouthBaltic #2ndCallForProposals

As Poland officially kicks off its EU presidency on January 30-31, 2025, a spotlight is on an inspiring project: Baltic For All co-financed by the Interreg South Baltic Programme 2014-2020. The project aimed to remove barriers for people with disabilities in watersports around the Baltic Sea by training trainers with disabilities in sailing, kite, and windsurfing, equipping them to educate others, while providing barrier-free equipment acquired by project partners for public access. The Baltic for All project served as a notable example with a substantial impact on promoting inclusiveness for people with disabilities in sports and had remarkable influence on its stakeholders. The motto of the Polish EU Presidency is ‘Security, Europe!’ which represents the seven pillars of security that will help Poland guide Europe towards a stable future. Following Poland's tenure, Denmark, another Member State of the Interreg South Baltic Programme, will assume the presidency in six months, from July until the end of December 2025.
