Kawasaki Robotics Central and Eastern Europe HUB is a brand managed by ASTOR - Technology meets People with its registered office in Kraków, Poland. ASTOR began distributing Kawasaki Robotics industrial robots in 2003. After several years of close cooperation and a significant increase in market share, the companies decided to establish a new partnership. The strategic agreement between ASTOR and Kawasaki Robotics was signed in Berlin and is valid from July 1st, 2020. ASTOR will be responsible for the development of sales, marketing and cooperation in the partner channel in 11 countries of Central and Eastern Europe. This is where our adventure as Kawasaki Robotics CEE HUB began. Did you know that Kawasaki Robotics robots have a Cooperative Motion Control function? This option allows two robots to be connected via an Ethernet network to realise an identical/slave motion path. One robot acts as the master and the other as the slave thanks to an appropriate configuration. The robot, working in slave mode, keeps up with the movements of the master robot. The first devices occupied huge spaces, while today's modern units are very compact. Miniaturization is playing a key role in the transformation of industry, as are industrial computers, which are increasingly common and more readily used in manufacturing plants. We recently organised a partner meeting from the CEE region, which took place in Gdansk. One of the highlights of the meeting was a visit to Flex in Tczew.  Thank you very much Michał Poczęsny for your hospitality and for showing us the plant. Did you know that Kawasaki Robotics robots have built-in arm digital input and output signals? ARM ID is an electronic board in the robot arm that contains information about the arm data (robot serial no., robot model), mastering (calibration data of the individual robot axes), and also handles the inputs and outputs in the robot arm.  Depending on the robot model, you will find a different number of available signals. #kawasakirobotics #robotics #automation #didyouknow

Did you know that Kawasaki Robotics robots have a load measurement function as standard? Auto Load measurement function allows the mass and center of gravity of objects installed on the robot's flange to be estimated. The measurement is made by moving axes 3-6 and measuring the current required to move the axes. Specifying the correct mass of the tool and workpieces on the flank in the program reduces the robot's cycle time, eliminates potential vibrations of the robot arm, thus extending the life of the robot. #kawasakirobotics #robotics #automation #didyouknow
