Via a pop-up experience in Brooklyn, coffee lovers confessed their most cherished specialty coffee orders at Caffeine Confessions. Upon exiting the booth, event-goers were led to the KitchenAid Café where their drink was brewed on the spot (no questions asked) with the Espresso Collection. Yesterday, I had the pleasure of sharing the stage with Joanna R. and Adam Vasallo at #AWNEWYORK24. We dove into a fascinating conversation about how creative companies can future-proof themselves by embracing sustainability upskilling. I was truly inspired by the range of perspectives and how we all seemed to agree on some fundamental ideas: ▶️ We are all at work to break down the walls between sustainability and business, making them one and the same. Sustainability should be part of everyone's role, and no longer a separate function ▶️ There's incredible potential in the marketing world to promote sustainable behaviors on a large scale. We are the translators, the connectors, the interpreter, that can make the technical feel relevant and accessible. At MSL (Global), we're working on this by connecting people with the brands they love in a way that's both engaging and relatable. Who doesn't want to live more sustainably? ▶️ One of most critical area to focus on to advance the sustainability agenda is human capital. No innovation, framework, or regulation will be working at its full potential until everyone at the table wants to take part in it. Investing on bringing people closer to the topic through relatable, relevant content that employees can discuss and practice with their teams show them how they can make a difference and creates the momentum needed to accelerate progress at the pace that we need.
