#PPTF held the electorial General Assembly - meet our new President, Board and Audit Committee! Kind-of in celebration of the #DayofPhotonics one can say, #PPTFmembers gathered yesterday at the hospitable premises of VIGO Photonics (some joined from afar thanks to the #fiberoptics) to elect the new leadership of the organisation. It was also a good oportunity to discuss market situation, technology policy developments and the latest expert report "Align, act, accelerate. Research, technology and innovation to boost European competitiveness" Anna Szerling, Łukasiewicz - Institute of Microelectronics and Photonics was elected the new President of the Board of PPTF, where she will be joined for the next two years by: 🤝 Anna Gebarska, SMARTTECH3D metrology - 3D scanners 🤝 Jacek Hanke, DCD Digital Core Design 🤝 Michał L. Muniak, Solaris Optics S.A. 🤝 Piotr Perlin, Instytut Wysokich Ciśnień PAN Adam Piotrowski, a long-term PPTF's President of the Board and co-author of the abovementioned "Align, act, accelerate" report, after 6 years in the Board decided to run this time for the Audit Committee, where he will watch the accuracy of our operations together with Małgorzata Kujawińska, Politechnika Warszawska, Arkadiusz Swat, #Telesystem and Janusz Sitek, Łukasiewicz - ITR #Congratulations to the newly and re-elected members of the Board and the Audit Committee - and best wishes for the next 2 years! We sincerely thank the former members: Anna Kozłowska (Audit Committee), Piotr Guzdek and Pawel Mergo (the Board) for their excellent work in previous terms. Thank you to PPTF's legal counselor Jakub Pietrasik for the quality assistance and succesfuly navigating us through the electoral challenges.
