We had a fantastic time at the TECHNO Expo in Hamburg! The event gave us a unique opportunity to connect with Germany’s largest network of brand-bound car dealerships, giving us valuable access to an exclusive and dynamic sales market. While we were there, Erdim Tarhan and Dominik Richrath showcased our take-back and disposal solutions, opening doors for new connections and reconnecting with long-standing partners. And the packaging data brands that should – and should not – report, can vary too. 🤓 That’s why the RLG team in North America headed to the Sustainable Brands conference in San Diego 🌴 this month to present a two-hour long workshop that covered all things packaging EPR – including questions about packaging data reporting. Attendees took part in a hands-on packaging evaluation to better understand reporting regulations—not to mention the way that data can be used to reduce packaging waste and fees! California is paving the way with Textile EPR Law SB 707 - as the first state to pass a comprehensive law on textile waste. 🌴 The Responsible Textile Recovery Act (SB 707) puts producers of apparel and textile products in charge of reducing waste through reuse, repair, and recycling. 👚 By 2030, California aims to make drop-off locations easily accessible for unwanted textiles.
