New landmark on the Newcastle skyline! Great progress this week at our Wallsend yard as the mid-section of the Inch Cape offshore substation jacket was lifted on to the lower section, creating an instant temporary landmark on the Newcastle skyline. At 68 metres, the jacket towers above the nearby port buildings. Sarens safely lifted the 792 tonne mid-section, which includes boat landing, on top of the jacket base using two cranes in tandem.
