Meet Alexey Supruniuk, who has recently conquered an incredible 129 km distance at an ultramarathon! Alexey’s main advice for runners of all classes is to gradually increase the load and experiment with distances. He spent a lot of time hiking and running in the mountains of Georgia and gradually increased distances from 30 to 70 kilometers. A few times a month, Alexey went on long hikes, experimenting with elevation gain and gear. That's when our colleague decided to try running his first ultramarathon – a 105-kilometer race in the mountains. At a recent ultramarathon, Alexey had the opportunity to run 150 km, but decided that would be too much and set the goal at 125 km – this is again about gradually increasing the load. After the 75th kilometer the distance became tougher: Alexey had to run on asphalt, which is quite painful after running on dirt. In such moments, a lot depends on your mindset. Our colleague has always told himself he could do the last 10 kilometers in any condition. This helped pick up the pace. SoftTeco congratulates Alexey on his breathtaking achievement! Welcome to our Adviser column, where we share insights from SoftTeco workers, who have significant experience in particular topics. This autumn we got inspired by numerous achievements of our colleagues at Semi-marathon races and prepared some questions about running for experienced SoftTeco runner Alexey Supruniuk.

SoftTeco offices united for a cross-country Halloween celebration, each adding a unique mark to the festivities. Teams across countries took part in the mozgobojnya quiz, testing the knowledge of supernatural mysteries and fueling team spirit! In Minsk, colleagues enjoyed a Halloween breakfast and delicious pies, followed by a costume contest where Aliaksei Rymasheuski’s Star Wars stormtrooper won the show. The day wrapped up with lively karaoke and good-humoured contests that kept the Halloween energy high. In Gomel and Vitebsk SoftTeco colleagues celebrated with local events, while the Warsaw office enjoyed a music quiz, adding a fun, competitive edge. All of the celebrations truly captured the Halloween spirit at SoftTeco! 🎃

We appreciate the days when our office transforms into a stage for student meetings! Recently, we welcomed a group from the College of Business and Law. The students enjoyed a guided tour of our Minsk office and had the unique opportunity to engage with our developers in their workspaces. The highlight of the day was an interactive lecture by Maxim Karpov,where he explored the differences between launching a career in an established IT company versus a startup. Hope this experience will become an inspiration for students and someday we will meet at SoftTeco office as colleagues or partners 💙
