🌿 Project Secret Garden – A New Beginning 🌿 Hey everyone! We are beyond excited to share our journey of transforming a forgotten hospital garden into a peaceful oasis. Thanks to our partnership with the Fundacja Słonko, ITCORNER, and other amazing contributors, we have taken the first step in revitalizing the garden at the Dolnośląskie Centrum Onkologii, Pulmonologii i Hematologii. ✨ Phase 1: The Clean-Up ✨ On a Saturday in August, the incredible volunteers from VM.PL and the Fundacja Słonko gathered to clear the overgrown area. Together, we're transforming this forgotten courtyard into a peaceful haven for patients and their families. The hard work is just beginning, but the potential of this space fills us with hope and determination. ✨ Phase 2: Fundraising and Supplier Engagement ✨ We need your support to continue! Together with the Fundacja Słonko, we’re launching a fundraising campaign to help with the next phases—replacing the pathways, adding benches, planting new greenery, and building infrastructure that will make this garden a true sanctuary for patients. VM.PL Software House unterwegs 🏃 7 Monate sind vergangen und es ist ein sehr guter Zeitpunkt, um Bilanz über das Halbjahr zu ziehen. Insgesamt waren wir in Q1 und Q2 zusammen mit den Abteilungen Delivery und Sales rund 100 Tage auf Geschäftsreisen in Deutschland und Österreich 😮 Es ist, als ob wir 5 Monate von Deutschland aus arbeiten würden. Auch Juli, der Monat der Urlaubszeiten, war bei uns mit vielen Geschäftsreisen verbunden 🚗 Kunden sind überall, nur nicht zu Hause, daher machten Jakub und ich uns auf den Weg nach Hamburg zu unserem potenziellen Kunden. ️🔹 Branche: IT-Dienstleistungen und Beratung 🏢 🔹 Kundenherausforderung 🔎 Bei dem Treffen wurde ein wichtiger Aspekt angesprochen, nämlich wie lange will ein Entwickler an einem Projekt beteiligt sein? Die größte Herausforderung für unseren potenziellen Kunden ist, einen Entwickler für eine längere Zeit in einem Projekt zu halten. Verträge von z.B. 2 Jahren sind für ihre Entwickler nicht so interessant, wie z.B. für 6 Monate. Wenn ein Programmierer nach sechs Monaten kündigt, kann das für ein Unternehmen eine Reihe von Konsequenzen haben. Hier sind einige der wichtigsten betroffenen Bereiche: 1. die Kosten für Einstellung und Schulung 2. Produktivitätsverluste und Projektverzögerungen 3. der Verlust von Wissen und Know-how 4. Auswirkungen auf Moral und Organisationskultur 5. Auswirkungen auf die Beziehungen zu Kunden und Stakeholdern 6. Alternative Kosten Bei VM.PL ist die Situation genau andersherum. Unsere Entwickler legen Wert auf Stabilität, daher bleiben sie sehr lange in einem Projekt, oft sind es z.B. 4 Jahre oder sogar länger. Um Risiken zu minimieren, investieren wir in Aktivitäten, die die Zufriedenheit und das Engagement unserer Mitarbeiter erhöhen, wie z. B. Mentoring-Programme oder berufliche Weiterentwicklung. Wir schätzen die Zusammenarbeit mit unseren Kunden sehr, daher legen wir einen großen Wert auf eine langjährige Zusammenarbeit. Wir werden sie dann mit zusätzlichen Funktionalitäten entwickeln. 🛠️ Was haben wir während des 2-tägigen Workshops gemeinsam erlebt? 📄 Wir haben die aktuellen Produkt-Schmerzpunkte des Kunden analysiert. 🔝 Wir planten die Prioritäten, die im POC umgesetzt werden sollten. 🤓 Wir teilten uns in drei Gruppen auf, in denen wir Ansichten über die neue Anwendung entwickelten. 🔍 Wir schlugen technische Lösungen vor, um Prozesse zu automatisieren, menschliche Fehler zu reduzieren, die Anpassung zu erleichtern, Cloud-Dienste zu nutzen und eine bessere Qualität der hergestellten Produkte zu erreichen. | Gute Organisation und gute Kommunikation trugen zum Erfolg des letzten Workshops bei. ✅ Vielen Dank an Justyna Tarkowska und Wojciech Bednarczyk für ihr Engagement und die hervorragende Durchführung der Treffen.
