It’s here. Our new app! We’ve been busy working away behind the scenes to get it ready for you, so let’s get downloading.

Whether you’re a home or business customer, you can now manage your account quickly and easily wherever you are.

Here’s what you can do –

· Use facial recognition or fingerprint ID so you never have to worry about remembering your password again.

· Set a new password if you’ve recently been moved over to us (as long as you’re getting emails from us, the app is ready and waiting for you to use!)

· Send in your gas & electricity meter readings – we’ve even got a handy in app torch for those dark & dingy meter cupboards.

· View and download your statements as well as keep up to date with your latest account balance.

· Make payments easily.

· Check your tariff details and renewal dates.

· Manage your account information.

· Opt in to get reminders when there’s something new to see or we need something from you.

Smart Pay As You Go –

· Check your balance and top up when you need to.

· Look through your top up history and get your payment code if needed.

· Opt in for low balance push alerts straight to your phone.

We’re still working on more new features for the app so watch this space and keep your app up to date.

The only app that insists on signing you out every few days, and requesting you log back in. Bizarre. Also pops up asking for feedback whilst you're trying to enter readings - and equally counts your last reading as whenever you inputted it... Even if Eon are collecting it every day ("It's been 120 days since your last reading!" - it hasn't).

I would give it 5 stars if only one could log in with a fingerprint AND not have to enter bank details every single time I top up. You should be able to recall bank details already stored like other apps do. This is a poorly designed app that obviously does its job but is not user-friendly. Edit: 17/08/2024 I had initially given it 2 stars. I am now giving it one star. If I could give it zero star, I would. The idea of having to log in and enter bank details every single time infuriates me.

I've just switched from Scottish Power. Have to say this app is a downgrade and so behind! I had usage with a running total up until the day before with hourly usage. This is 3 days behind or more. Also my balance reflected 1 day after direct debit went in. Very disappointing this app is, there's no running total cost either! 😡 Won't be staying with Eon!!
