Unreliable, if wifi is weak. Proprietary controller is much more reliable. HUGE MISTAKE to bin them. Totally unreliable system since the upgrade to S2. The newest speakers continuously crashes out of the system. DO NOT BUY This is still continuing without anyone doing anything about it. The upgrade to a new AMP is a Waste of my money and still continues to crash. Baffeling that no solution is provided.

*Update, it was good, now it's a nightmare. Whatever upgrades to the software have been a complete and total failure. Even going back to the earlier version is a gong show. Works pretty good most of the time. It does drop out once in a while. For the most part I am quite happy with it. Update: I've been using the ap for a number of months now and have had no further problems, interface works great, lots of station options. I use it everyday, and love it.

This app is pure trash. I have an old Play:5 speaker and recently attempted to login to YouTube Music, SoundCloud, and SiriusXM to connect the app to my services. No matter how many times the authentication succeeded on those websites, I come back to this Sonos app and find "Connection Errors". I last reviewed this app in 2017. I see that not much has changed since then. 🙄

What's new
Renamed the Sonos S1 Controller, this app supports systems that include the oldest Sonos products. Systems supported by this app will continue to receive bug fixes and security patches but will not receive new software features found in the new Sonos S2 app and will not be compatible with Sonos products released after May 2020.
