The search widget is broken, got worse as I was using it. Looking for places selling Takoyaki it wouldn't open images of the menus, moments before, it did load but it cut off the images. Saving some of those locations pulled up a menu that had everything compacted to the bottom portion. Went back to the search results and the whole Google logo and search bar was gone. Please get rid of the inaccurate AI search results at the top. I do, however, very much like the look of Sound Search now.

I really hate the new update. I used to be able to hold the home button on my screen & just use Google's voice assist to search for things or set an alarm or something. Now it brings up this stupid AI search that tries to search for anything that's on my screen. There is a microphone button you can then manually press, but it doesn't do what it used to do. For example, if I ask it to set a timer, it does not do it, it just does a Google search for that phrase. Nothing in settings to revert back.

I used to use this app all the time. Within the last few months I can't use it and switch to other tasks without the app crashing. So for example if I want to do anything that involves logging in and verifying my login via text or email I have to go through chrome because if I just use the widget it crashes the second I switch tasks. Updates have not fixed the issue. After perusing reviews it appears this is an issue for many and Google has chosen to ignore it.
