Just came across your show a few weeks ago and I’m loving how well researched and informative your show has been. I’m personally obsessed with the serial killer episodes.

Hi Queen Weirdos, I just wanted to take a minute as I just listened to this episode and I did go to college in Potsdam, NY and I heard you say a lot that "this was just the '80's and now a days they have the police on campus." This none of what you said should happen "now a days" is true of Clarkson University. Going to college in a town with both State and Private Universities I learned all too quickly this is just a difference with private universities. On the state campus I attended our UP were state troopers where even in 2016 Clarkson had no police officers on campus and the UP on campus were only security guards not trained to do anything and with no connection to the police. They were a joke and things went wrong all the time and they were not respected among the student population. Later on in the episode you say the Snell family was well known. They are not just well known there is both the old Snell Hall now owned by Clarkson University, but originally part of SUNY Potsdam until Potsdam state abandoned the building gifting it to Clarkson (built in 1816 as part of the original campus) and the current Snell Hall on the SUNY Potsdam campus today both paid for by the Snell family. For more fun facts Old Snell Halls basement is where the boiler room scenes of the Nightmare on Elm Street were filmed and the building is super haunted. I was a stage manager for the Clarkson Theater Company and I often was in the building's theater alone and every time I was the stage lights would dance on their own. The dancing stage lights would have no power to them and still dance and light up the whole theater.
