Last week we sealed our contribution to the Puerto Rico Hotel and Tourism Association's Time Capsule, as part of its 75th anniversary celebration. Today we share with you a glimpse of the pages of “Cruising Together into the Future,” the magazine that encapsulates a look at the present of our port, its evolution, and the team that makes every arrival and every sailing possible. “This project is a reflection of our vision, our commitment, and our passion for an industry that continues to grow with purpose and pride. It is a true honor to contribute to a legacy that will inspire those who come after us,” said Clarivette Diaz, SJCP General Manager. Hay momentos que trascienden el presente y este es sin duda uno de ellos. En San Juan Cruise Port tuvimos el honor de participar en el evento de la Puerto Rico Hotel and Tourism Association (PRHTA), con motivo de su celebración del centenario en el año 2049. Como parte de esta histórica conmemoración, fuimos invitados, junto a otras empresas y organizaciones del sector turístico, a contribuir a la creación de una Cápsula del Tiempo. Durante el evento especial celebrado en el Royal Sonesta San Juan, nos unimos a esta vibrante comunidad para preservar un pedacito del 2025 para el futuro. ¿Nuestra aportación? Una mirada al proceso de transformación de nuestro puerto, al compromiso de nuestro equipo y a la visión que nos impulsa por los próximos 25 años. También sellamos una etiqueta de equipaje, un pequeño símbolo de los incontables viajes que comienzan en San Juan Cruise Port y un recordatorio de que toda gran aventura empieza con un destino. Nuestra Gerente General, Clarivette Díaz, participó de esta significativa iniciativa y dejando una parte de nuestro presente para que los líderes del turismo del 2049 puedan descubrirla. La cápsula permanecerá sellada hasta el año 2049, cuando será abierta como parte de la celebración del 100 aniversario de la PRHTA. Nos llena de emoción imaginar a la próxima generación de profesionales del turismo y así poder constar desde dónde navegamos juntos. During the special event at the Royal Sonesta San Juan, we joined Puerto Rico’s vibrant hospitality and tourism community to preserve a piece of 2025 for the future. Our contribution? A glimpse into the transformation of our iconic port, our amazing team, and our vision for the next 25 years. We also sealed a luggage tag into the time capsule—a small symbol of the countless journeys that begin at San Juan Cruise Port, and a timeless reminder that every great adventure starts with a destination. Our General Manager, Clarivette Díaz, proudly participated in this meaningful initiative, representing San Juan Cruise Port as we contributed a piece of our present to be discovered by the tourism leaders of 2049. This capsule will be sealed until 2049, when it will be opened during PRHTA’s 100th Anniversary Celebration. We can’t wait for the future generation of tourism professionals to look back at where we’ve been—and see how far we’ve sailed. El pasado jueves recibimos a los tour operadores para nuestra segunda reunión trimestral junto al equipo de San Juan Cruise Port—aprovechando esta valiosa oportunidad para fortalecer la colaboración, atender nuevos aportes y dar seguimiento a los temas discutidos en diciembre. Thank you to the PRMA for inviting us to yesterday’s government caucus at the Convention Center. It’s always a privilege to take part in these important discussions and share updates on our projects and plans. A special thanks to all the government officials for their insightful presentations and for outlining their agencies’ key priorities. Farewell and Thank You, Captain Nik Antalis! During our recent visit to Royal Caribbean in Miami, we had the honor of meeting with a great friend and supporter of Puerto Rico as a premier Caribbean destination—Captain Antalis. Captain, we are deeply grateful for your support over the years and your strong connection with San Juan. Your dedication has meant so much to our island and we will always cherish it. As you embark on this new chapter in retirement, we wish you endless joy with your family and friends. We hope to welcome you back to Puerto Rico soon!
