Der niedersächsische Ministerpräsident Stephan Weil war heute zu Besuch auf unserem Campus in Göttingen, um sich über die Förderung von Talenten und Innovationen bei Sartorius zu informieren. Begleitet wurde Weil von der Bundestagsabgeordneten Frauke Heiligenstadt, dem Landtagsabgeordneten Gerd Hujahn und Göttingens Oberbürgermeisterin Petra Broistedt. Die Delegation besichtigte das Testlabor im neuen Forschungs- und Entwicklungsgebäude, wo ihr die Funktionsweise von Bioreaktoren demonstriert wurde, die bei der Erforschung und Herstellung von biopharmazeutischen Medikamenten eingesetzt werden. Im Anschluss tauschte sich die Gruppe bei einem gemeinsamen Mittagessen mit #MINT Talenten aus, die bei Sartorius eine Ausbildung oder ein duales Studium absolvieren. Bereits am Dienstag hatten Weil, Kreuzburg und weitere Akteure aus Südniedersachsen eine Erklärung zur Gründung des "Life Science Valley Niedersachsen" unterzeichnet. Partnering for better health in Guatemala🤝 For more than nine years, Sartorius has partnered up with the medical aid organization action medeor e.V. for long-term development projects and disaster relief. In 2022, Sartorius supported a project aimed at improving basic healthcare in 14 communities throughout Guatemala. Sartorius closed the first half of the year with a positive trend in sales revenue development. Due to the ongoing high volatility and limited predictability, however, the company is now de-risking its outlook for the second half of the year. "Sartorius met its targets for the first half of the year, and we achieved the intended slight sales revenue growth and robust profitability in the second quarter. As in the first three months, the picture remained exceptionally mixed," said CEO Joachim Kreuzburg. Find out how Sartorius and the biotech company Repairon are #InThisTogether for a cure 🤝💛 Shortly after birth, our heart muscle cells lose their ability to divide. This means that damage such as a heart attack leads to an irreversible loss of these cells. As a result, the heart's ability to pump effectively decreases, which can lead to heart failure. For over two decades, the team at Repairon has been researching to develop the so-called heart patch.
