Internal Operations, Compliance, and Project Manager


Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Internal Operations, Compliance, and Project Manager to join our team. This role will be pivotal in managing and overseeing key financial and operational functions within the firm. The ideal candidate will have a background in finance, law, or engineering, with advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. A higher degree is desirable but not mandatory.


Key Responsibilities

  • Investor Reporting & Compliance: Lead investor reporting and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. Manage financial reporting and performance measurement to provide accurate and timely information to investors.
  • Management Reporting & Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis and prepare management reports to support decision-making processes.
  • Fund Structures & Investments: Oversee the setup of fund structures and investments, ensuring efficient and compliant operations.
  • Capital Calls & Distributions: Lead the capital calls process, calculate and manage distributions to investors, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
  • Tax Reporting & Structuring: Collaborate with internal and external tax counsel on investor tax reporting and investment structuring to optimize tax efficiency.
  • Deal Closings & Financings: Work closely with the investment teams on deal closings and financings, providing necessary support and ensuring all processes are completed smoothly.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Complete ad hoc and special projects and initiatives as directed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to meet the firm's evolving needs.


Qualifications

  • Attention to Detail: Must have exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Highly proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to create detailed reports and presentations.
  • Educational Background: A background in finance, accounting, law, or engineering is required. A higher degree (e.g., MBA, JD, MS) is a plus.
