In this position you will:

Be responsible for management of all logistics and Warehousing operations activities focusing on customers service and sales. The function is also responsible for the overall operation in Puerto Rico with PL responsibility.

Duties and Responsibilities Include but not limited to:

• Build a high-performing operations team through assessing the team’s capabilities, proactively resolving issues, actively coaching team members, delegating duties to foster a sense of empowerment and ownership.

• Manage capital requirements and budgets for operations, while controlling costs through leadership and business process improvements.

• Partner with Sales Team to facilitate and grow new sales and customers.

• Direct day-to-day operations of staff, logistics, warehousing, loading, receiving operations, stocking of product, etc; all within company standards of excellence.

• Provide leadership in managing facility; build relationships with customers, vendors and partners.

• Maintain and facilitate active relationships with clients.

• Report productivity and budgeting performances to Finance

• Maintain safety and exemplify high ethical standards to customers, employees, and vendors.

The ideal candidate will have:

Skills:

• Ability to organize, lead, and maintain a smooth functioning warehouse/logistics team.

• Previous experience leading logistics/warehousing operations. Growing same operations.

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from Senior Management, groups of managers, clients, and customers.

• Ability and desire to engage with Sales to grow business.

• Experience in freight forwarding would be a huge plus.

• Bi-lingual is required.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or 10 years’ experience in this level of Operations in logistics required.
